Our Traditional Worship Service meets at 8:30AM in our Sanctuary, and our Contemporary Worship Service meets at 10:30AM in our Family Life Center. We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating, so we invite you to use our Plan a Visit page to let us know you’re coming. Our team will be ready to welcome you and your family.

10:30am Contemporary

This is a multi-generational, modern service that meets in our newly built Family Life Center. Music in the service is band-driven and dress is casual. 

8:30am Traditional

This services features a traditional worship style with an adult choir. The Traditional service meets in our historic Sanctuary. You will see many people in this service in their “Sunday Best.”

At First Baptist Church of Valdosta, kids matter. We provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways.

During our services we provide an awesome Children’s Worship Experience. At the conclusion of the musical part of worship, children are dismissed to our Children’s Building for Children’s Worship. 

When service is over, weather permitting, you can pick up your child on our recently renovated playground. If weather doesn’t allow outside play, you can pick up your 1st-5th Grader upstairs in the Children’s Building and your Pre-K/Kindergartener downstairs in the Children’s Building. 

We also offer a staffed nursery for babies and toddlers during worship. All nursery workers are trained and background checked to ensure safe childcare.
